Customer ID, Name, and External ID

Sysdig SaaS users can be identified by a unique customer number and name, provided by email when the Sysdig environment is first provisioned. While it is generally unnecessary to know the customer number and it is not prominently displayed in the user interface, some configuration settings may require it.

For on-premises environments, the customer ID will typically be 1.

To retrieve the information:

  1. Log into the Sysdig interface.

  2. Select one of the following from the user menu:

    • Authentication (SSO)

    • Settings > Authentication (SSO).

    The Authentication section lists the Customer ID, Customer Name, and External ID associated with your account.

If you need your Customer Name and it is blank, contact Sysdig Support to have your Customer Name set.
