Support
Email notification channels are supported for the following use cases in Sysdig Monitor:
- Alerts
- Silence Rule Notifications
- Cost Advisor Reports
Email notification channels are supported for the following use cases in Sysdig Secure:
- Runtime Policies
- Reporting
- Risks
- Threats
- Vulnerabilities
- Accepted Risk: Vulnerabilities
Create an Email Notification Channel
Log in to Sysdig Monitor or Sysdig Secure as an Administrator.
Select Integrations > Notification Channels.
Select Add Notification Channel > Email.
Enter the relevant details for the email notification:
From Shared With: Choose whether this channel can be used by All Teams or the Current Team you are logged in as.
Click Save.
If you enabled Test notification, a test email will be sent.
To use email notifications, you can now configure an alert.
For on-premises environments, you may need to have pre-configured your SMTP parameters in your Kubernetes installation configmap.
